Subject: Nicotine Research Proposal
Abstract
Discusses interest in nicotine and proposes experiments into methods of addition of nicotine to tobacco. Reports that free nicotine was added to some blends of tobacco by various carriers, including a combination of corn syrup and charcoal. States that the loss of nicotine from addition to smoke analysis was considerable, as much as 90%. Suggests experiments be conducted to determine the best method of application; the amount of substance used to obtain desired delivery, and what will remain stable on the tobacco. Handwritten memo.
